My infant slept in this regularly. As he grew, I dropped it from the top level to the middle then the bottom. It is big enough that he was able to lay down, crawl & eventually walk around in it. The pad has a vinyl cover which I covered with a blanket to make it nicer to lay on. But the vinyl is good for easy clean up of spilled sippy cups. The vinyl is a little worn around the edges. But overall the play pen is in TERRIFIC shape! Just know, it is LARGE. It measures 49.5L x 42W x 38.5H inches. A great high-quality playpen! Must be able to pick it up and will need a truck.
